COST/BILLING:
- 足球游戏_中国足彩网¥体育资讯’s student health center is in-network with most major insurance carriers. All services and charges related to the visit will be billed to your insurance company. This includes charges for the office visit, any in-house lab tests, office procedures and immunizations.
- At each office visit, students are ONLY responsible for their Primary Care Co-pay for services performed. This included the office evaluation, procedures and any in-house lab testing performed (Strep, Flu, Mono, COVID, Urinalysis, Pregnancy Test, etc.)
• This amount is set by the insurance carrier and often found on the front of your insurance card.
• Typically between $10–$40.
• The Aetna SHIP co-pay is $25
• There is no co=pay for students with Medicaid and Medicare plans
• Co-pay will be automatically charged to your 足球游戏_中国足彩网¥体育资讯 student bursar's account so you do not need to pay at the time of service.
- Any remaining fees/balances not covered by your insurance, (including deductible amounts) will be paid for through the student activities fee and will not be charged to the student.
Outside Lab and Imaging Fees:
- Students WILL BE responsible for any charges related to lab work that is sent for outside lab testing through LabCorp. LabCorp will bill your insurance for these charges and will bill the student for any remaining balance.
- Students WILL BE responsible for any balances remaining for imaging studies ordered such as X-rays, MRI, CT and U/S that are performed and billed through an outside radiology center. They will bill your insurance separately as well.
Kaiser Insurance:
- Students with Kaiser can still be seen at the SHC for for medical evaluations and in-house testing only (Strep, Flu, COVID, Mono, UTI). Since Kaiser is not in network with LabCorp, students needing outside lab evaluations will need to be referred to a Kaiser facility for management.
