Joanna Golden, daughter of Trustee Emeritus Rosalee Davison (d. 6/30/23) and Richard Davison (d. 8/16/23), spent part of her career as the Creative Director of Pie in the Sky, a pie baking company located in Aspen, CO. She has split her time between Aspen, New York, and Baltimore, where she was born and raised. She attended the Park School of Baltimore and then went on to receive her BFA in Costume Design from the Rhode Island School of Design.

Joanna worked in the costume design industry for many years before starting her family of two children. She had been an active member of The Walters Art Museum Women's Committee, a board member of The Contemporary, and a member of the Board of Trustees for The Maryland Zoo.
